GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

A person holding this position is expected to provide information and assistance to citizens, customers, and the general public, in a kind and courteous manner.  This person is the front line and the first contact any of the public, who seeks any services or information from City Hall, will see and interact with.  This position is very important in terms of its direct contact with citizens and customers and is a critical member of the City Hall team.

This employee is directly responsible for the general maintenance of utility accounts; that include water, sewer, and garbage services.  This includes taking orders for add-on’s, making account adjustments, taking and making repair callouts, taking payments, and distributing utility bills.  The position also provides general clerical support in the way of answering the telephone, filing, faxing, making copies, typing, data entry, preparing the bank deposit.  This position also provides a variety of other duties that may be needed by the City.
